Auditions for Chester County Choral Society

Auditions are typically held in mid-August for the fall semester and mid-January for the spring semester each year, depending on the voice parts needed.  Applicants will:

• Be guided through warm-ups and exercises to establish range and vocal quality
• Sing My Country, ‘Tis of Thee (v.1, music provided)
• Sing a brief solo (or excerpt) of the candidate’s choosing (any genre or style; please bring a copy for the accompanist)
• Be tested on pitch matching, melodic recall, and sight reading
